Pulled Pork - Bourbon Peach BBQ

Slow cooked pulled pork Serve with Tangy Cilantro jalapeño lime coleslaw
- 3 lbs boneless port shoulder or boston butt roast
- 1/2 whole large onion, diced
- 1/2 cup bourbon (can substitute water)
- 4 whole large peaches, seeded and skin removed
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 whole chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, chopped
- 1 tbsp adobo sauce from canned peppers
- 2 tbls brown sugar
- Crusty hamburger buns
Drink Syrup - Niagara Bramble

- 1 1/2 oz Pike Creek Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz cherry preserves
- Niagara cherry for garnish
Drink Syrup - Havana Bramble

Uses Simple syrup
- 2 Strawberries,
- 3 Raspberries,
- 4 Blueberries
- 2 oz Havana club 7 year rum
- 1/2 oz Chambord (Blackberry liqueur)
- 1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Simple syrup
- 1 each of the 3 berries for garnish
Lightly Curried Carrot and Ginger Soup

Carrots thicken this soup and give it a rich flavor
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons minced gingerroot
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon each curry powder, salt and pepper
- 4 cups thickly sliced peeled carrots
- 3 cups vegetable or chicken stock
- 2 cups 2% milk (or one third each milk, plain yogurt and coconut milk)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander (cilantro) or parsley
Hazelnut Almond Cresent

- 1 1/4 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups fresh Blueberries

Chicken - Vietnamese Grilled Chicken Noodles

- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Fish sauce
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Lime juice
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Sambal Oelek
- 2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
- Chicken:
- 2 stalks Lemongrass, or zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp Peanut oil
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1/2 cup Chicken broth
- 1 1/2 lb skinless, boneless chicken thighs
- Garnish:
- 7 oz Rice Vermicelli
- 1/2 head Iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced
- 1/2 English Cucumber, cut into thin matchsticks
- 1/2 cup salted peanuts, crushed
- Green onions
- Lime quarters, to taste
