- 2 cups flour

- 1/4 tea. salt
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. chilled butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/3 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup water
- cooking spray
Melon & Berrties in Chile-Lime Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups water, the sugar, and the chile over high heat
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 jalapeno, cut in half lengthwise
- zest and juice of 1/2 lime
- 1/2 honeydew melon (about 1 1/2 lb) seeded and cut into 1" cubes

Machaca Beef Dip Sandwiches (slow cooker)

Place roast in a 3-4 qt. slow cooker; top with onion
- 1 boneless beef chuck roast (2-3 lb)
- 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced

- 3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. adobo sauce

- 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
- 1 small onion, diced, divided
- 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies, divided
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 cup salsa
- 2/3 cup milk

- 2 cup (8 oz) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup chopped onion
