Smoked Spiced Nuts in the BBQ

In a small bowl mix the sugar, thyme/rosemary, cayenne, and mustard between your fingers
- 1 tea. brown sugar
- 1 tea. dried thyme or rosemary (or 1/2 tea. each)
- 1/4 tea. cayenne
- 1/4 tea. dry mustard powder
- 2 cups mixed salted nuts
- 2 tea. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 medium chunkshickory wood, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
Southwest Creamy Pasta Bake

Cook pasta according to package directions
- 12 ozx. uncooked spiral pasta
- 3 cups cubed cooked chicken breast
- 2 cups (16 oz) sour cream
- 1 cups (8 oz) shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
- 1 can (10 oz) green chili salsas
- 1 cup chopped green onions
- 1 can (4 1/4 oz) chopped ripe olives
Eggs - Pepperoni and Cheese Scrambled Eggs

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
- 1 tea. oil
- 1/4 lb. pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 green onion, white and light green parts only, thinly sliced on the bias
Salsa Roja (cooked red salsa)

Place tomatoes in a small saucepan, cover with water and bring to a boil
- 4 roma tomatoes
- 2 Tbs. oil, divided
- 2 generous handfuls of de Arbol chile (don't be stingy) - as is, don't remove seeds or veins
- 3 garlic cloves
- 4 guajillo chiles - as is, don't remove seeds or veins
- 6 tomatillos
- 1/2 tes. chicken bouillion powder
- 1/4 tea. cumin
- 1/4 tea. Mexican oregano
- salt to taste
Pomegranate-Rosemary brisket with red wine jus

Heat the oven to 300 degrees
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. whole peppercorns
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, leaves only
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 - 2 1/4 lb. brisket, trimmed of fat
- 1 8 oz. package baby Portobello mushrooms
- 1 medium yellow onion, quartered
- 1 pomegranate, quartered
- 1 cup red wine
Green Beans With Bacon Vinaigrette

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon salt
- * kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 * 2 pounds green beans, trimmed
- 6 * 6 slices bacon
- 2 * 2 shallots, sliced
- 2 * 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 * 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
- 2 * 2 tablespoons olive oil
- * feta cheese
Cheesy Chicken Empanadas

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine chicken, cheese, mayo and cilantro
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts
- 1 cup Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese
- 1/3 cup Kraft Sandwich Shop Chipotle Flavored Mayo
- 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 pkg (14.1 oz) ready-to-use refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
- 1 tea. chili powder
Glaze - Orange Balsamic Sauce

Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium heat
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil or olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. minced fresh rosemary
- 1/3 cup orange marmalade
- 4 tsp. balsamic vinegar

In a 5-6 qt. slow cooker combine tomatoes, peppers, onions, oregano, cumin, 1/2 tea
- 1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 red bell peppers, cut in 1/2" slices
- 1 onion, cut into 8 wedges
- 2 tea. dried oregano
- 1 tea. ground cumin
- salt & pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs. flank steak, cut crosswise in thirds
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
