Rhubarb Barbecue Sauce

In a small saucepan, bring the rhubarb and water to a boil
- 1 cup chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 tea. canola oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. worchestershire sauce
- 1 Tbp. Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tea. hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 tea. salt
Pork Chops - Beer Marinated Chops with Cheddar

Trim fat from chops. Place in a zip lock
- 4 bone-in pork rib or loin chops, cut 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" thick
- 1 12-oz. bottle honey-wheat beer
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tea. black pepper
- 1/4 tea. salt
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese or crumbled blue cheese (4 oz)
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions (2)
Three Cheese Beer Soup

Allow sharp cheddar and white cheddar cheese to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (6 oz)
- 11/4 cups shredded white cheddar cheese (5 oz)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions (2)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tea. dry mustard
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 1 12-oz. bottle beer
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 1/2 cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups small broccoli florets
- 10 slices bacon, crisp-cooked, drained, and chopped
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
- 1/2 tea. bottle hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 tea. Worcestershire sauce
Liverwurst Spread

Beat together cream cheese and liverwurst until well combined
- 2 - 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 lb. liverwurst
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions
- 1 Tbsp. spicy brown mustard
- Dried parsley
- Assorted crackers
Rhubarb Dump Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 4-5 cups diced rhubarb
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 3-oz. package raspberry gelatin powder
- 1 18 1/2-oz. box yellow cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup water
Brandied Cranberries (made for Thanksgiving)

Makes about 1 pint If making for Thanksgiving or Christmas no need to process in boiling water bath
- 1 pkg. (12 oz) package fresh cranberries
- 1 cup brandy (or enough to fill the quart jar)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 3 Tbsp. grated orange peel
Sauerkraut and Polish Sausage Stew

In slow cooker, combine soup, sugar, and sauerkraut
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 (27 oz) can sauerkraut, drained
- 2 lb. Polish Sausage, cut into 1" pieces
- 4 medium potatoes, pared and cubed
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and butter
- BATTER:
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 1/4 cups diced fresh or frozen rhubarb
- 4 1/2 tea. sugar

- 6 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 tea. vanilla
- 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 tea. baking powder
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tea. cream of tartar
Glazed Sweet and Sour Chicken

In a cup, stir together marmalade, lemon juice, soy sauce and cornstarch
- 1/3 cup orange marmalade
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tea. cornstarch
- 2 tea. olive oil
- 1 lb. chicken breast tenders
- 1/8 tea. salt
Tortellini Tomato Soup

Cook tortellini according to package directions
- 1 pkg. ( oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 cans(10 3/4 oz each) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1/2 cup chopped oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 tea. onion powder
- 1 tea. garlic powder
- 1 tea. dried basil
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Additional shredded Parmesan cheese for serving
