Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 green onions, including some tender green tops, sliced
  • 1 cub cubed cooked ham
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups half & half
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Dash of white pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Gruyere Cheese
  • 9 Inch Pie Shell, partially baked

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet, over medium heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms, green onions, and ham and saute until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, half & half, salt, and pepper. Stir in cheese.

Spread ham-mushroom mixture in pie shell. Pour egg mixture over top. Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean and top is golden brown, 40-45 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes.
