Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 t. butter, melted
  • 2 large boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 T. butter
  • 1/2 cup marsala
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup green onions

Step 1

Cook mushrooms in 2 T. butter in large skillet until done. Remove from heat; set aside.

Place chicken breasts between wax paper; pound to 1/8" thickness using meat mallot. Dredge in flour.

Cook in butter 3-4 min . per side until golden. Place in lightly greased casserole dish. Sprinkle mushrooms over chicken.

Add wine & broth to skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered 10 min., stirring often.
Stir in salt & pepper. Pour sauce over chicken.

Combine cheeses and green onions; sprinkle over chicken.

Bake at 430 for 15-20 min.
