Wegman's Bolognese Sauce over Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic; minced
  • 8 ounce mirepoix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 jar bolognese Sauce (16.5 ounce)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon basil; chopped
  • 16 ounce rigatoni; cooked, drained
  • 4 tablespoon pecorino Romano Cheese; grated

Step 1


1. Brown beef in skillet on medium, 2-3 minutes. Drain well.

2. Add garlic and mirepoix; cook 3-4 minutes. Add broth; bring to simmer.
Add Bolognese sauce; simmer 10 minutes.

3. Add milk; simmer 5 minutes. Sprinkle with basil; season to taste with
salt and pepper. Serve over pasta with grated cheese.
