Mushroom Brandy Cream ala Steak

  • Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • 2 Heaping Tablespoons Butter
  • Sliced Mushrooms (as many as you like)
  • 1/2 of Shallot
  • 1/3 Cup Brandy
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream



Step 1

Black Pepper both sides of steak, put olive oil in a pan (pan should be very hot prior to placing steaks) Cook/sear steaks approximately 2 minutes on each side. (Thin steaks 1 minute on each side) Cook in oven on 350 turning every 2 minutes until done.

In a sauce pan add 2 heaping tablespoons of butter, sliced mushrooms, 1/2 shallot chopped, when golden brown pour in 1/3 cup brandy, 2 tablespoons dijon mustard let simmer. Stir in approximately 1 cup of heavy cream.
