(Crockpot) Michigan Beans and Sausage
- 1 lb. cooked Kielbasa (Polish) sausage (lengthwise and thinly sliced)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. molasses
- 2 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 3 cans (15-1/2 oz.) Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
In covered saucepan, cook sausage and onion in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes, to remove some of the fat; drain.
Combine other ingredients in Crock Pot and add sausage and onions.
Cook on low heat 6 to 8 hours.
Can also bake for 1-1/2 hours at 350° covered in a 2-1/2 quart casserole.
