  • 12 ounces linguine
  • one onion
  • 12 ounces cherry tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 sprigs basil
  • water
  • Parmesan cheese
  • olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Peel onion and cut into thin slices. Peel and slice garlic as well, and cut cherry tomatoes in half. Into your saute pan, place the linguine, onion, tomato, garlic, pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, 4 1/2 cups of water, and two sprigs of basil. Place your pan on the stove and turn the stove on high. Bring your dish to a boil while stirring constantly. The pasta should be cooked and ready to serve in 11 minutes from the time you place it onto the stove. Once the pasta is cooked, dish it out and garnish it with freshly grated Parmesan and "a drizzle of olive oil."
