  • 1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 5 oz. cream of crab or lobster
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/16 tsp. pepper
  • 1 loaf white sliced bread
  • melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Melt cheese and 1/4-cup butter in saucepan over low heat. Add crab, salt and pepper. Mix well. Remove from heat.

Remove crust from bread and using a rolling pin roll each slice quite thin. Spread each slice with crab mixture and roll up jelly-roll style. Chill or freeze.

To serve brush rolls with melted butter and slice each one into three pieces. Place on un-greased sheet and bake at 400° F for 15 minutes.

Makes 48 pieces.
