Ingredients
- 32-ounce bag frozen hash browns, thawed
- 15-ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup or other condensed cream soup
- 1 large sweet onion, diced
- 16-ounce smoked sausage or chorizo, diced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onion, for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Brown sausage and onions in a stovetop-safe slow cooker vessel.
Add hash browns to sausage/onion mixture in the slow cooker.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top, then cover with condensed soup.
Place lid on slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours, or until hash browns are tender.
Taste and season with salt and pepper, if necessary.
