Pasta with cream sauce, peas and chives

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dried pasta
  • 1-1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 1-1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 c. grated Parmesean
  • 10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 Tb. chopped fresh chives

Preparation

Step 1

cook pasta. Meanwhile, in large saucepan, over medium-low heat, warm cream, milk, salt and pepper. Drain the pasta and add cream mixture. Add Parmesan and stir until the cheese melts and the sauce begins to thicken, 2-3 mins. Stir in peas, increase heat to medium, and warm until heated through, 3 mins more. Top with chives, serve.
