Ingredients
- 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can shredded sauerkraut drained
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 6 (4-ounce) lean boned center-cut loin pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 4 cups thinly sliced Granny Smith apple (about 2 medium)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º. Arrange sauerkraut evenly in a 13 × 9-inch baking dish; sprinkle with caraway seeds and cloves.
Place pork chops on sauerkraut; arrange apple slices on pork, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover and bake at 350º for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until pork is tender.
Serving Size: 1 pork chop with 1/4 cup sauerkraut and about 1/2 cup apple slices
