Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb penne pasta
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 (26oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 (15oz) container ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz shredded mozzerella, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesean
  • 1 egg beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 2 1/2 qt baking dish.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain.

In a large akillet over medium heat, cook beef until brown; drain. Stir in pasta sauce; remove from heat.

In a bowl combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzerella, Parmesean and beaten egg. Stir until well combined.

In the prepared dish layer half the pasta, half the sauce and half the cheese mix. Repeat. Top with remaining mozzerella.

Bake in oven 34-40 minutes until hot and bubbly.
