Ingredients
- 2 cups packed basil leaves
- 4 sprigs Italian parsley
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- Pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. fusilli pasta

Preparation
Step 1
In a food processor, combine basil, parsley, and garlic. Add salt, pine nuts, and olive oil. Blend to a creamy, butter consistency. Add more oil if needed, and pepper to taste. Add Parmesan cheese and mix well.
Cook pasta. Drain and transfer to a large bowl. Toss with pesto and serve.
