Mushroom Sloppy Joes II

  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound fresh white mushrooms chopped
  • 1 can Sloppy Joe sauce - (15 1/2 oz)
  • 4 hamburger buns split and toasted


Servings 4


Step 1

In a large skillet (preferably nonstick), heat oil over medium heat. Add mushrooms; cook and stir until browned and liquid has evaporated, about 8 minutes. Stir in Sloppy Joe sauce. Cook mushroom mixture until thick, about 3 minutes.

Spoon 1/2 cup of the mushroom mixture onto each bun bottom; place remaining half of bun on top.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
