Preparation

Step 1

Lasagne: Bring water to a boil and add some olive oil. Put some lasagna slices and boil for 2-3 minutes. After they are cooked, take lasagna and put under cold water. Dry them on paper towels separately.

Sauce: In a large pot combine tomato sauce, olive oil, salt, pepper, large slices of onions, whole celery sticks and whole carrots. Add 1/2 can of water and bring to a slow boil at medium temp. for 30-40 minutes. After the sauce is finished, remove the vegetables.

Besciamella: In a small pot melt the butter, then immediately after it melts remove from heat, add one T. of flour, mix rapidly until its kind of thick. Then add 3/4 c. (this measurement is not exact because you kind of have to guess, as with all measurements) slowly and keep mixing until its liquimilk d. Put the pot on heat again and keep mixing 3-4 minutes. Its ready when it looks like mashed potatoes.

In a rectangular casserole dish makes the first layer with tomato sauce, sprinkle grated parmesan, then cover with lasagna slices. The 2nd layer should have tomato sauce, parmesan and quarter-size slices of mozzarella. Then on the 3rd layer do everything like the 2nd layer, and add balls of besciamella. Continue until finished and cook at 350 to 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until the top is a little brown.
