Ingredients
- SAUCE:
- 4 * 4 bone-in pork loin chops (7 ounces each)
- 1 * 1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
- *
- 1 * 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1 * 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 * 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 * 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2/3 * 2/3 cup fat-free milk
- 3 * 3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
- 1 * 1 tablespoon white wine or reduced-sodium chicken broth

Step 1
* Sprinkle pork chops on both sides with pepper. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 160°.
* Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter until tender. Sprinkle with flour; stir until blended. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add cheese and wine; heat through. Serve sauce with chops. Yield: 4 servings.
