Green Smoothie

Don't knock it til you try it. It is really good and gives you energy. Drink it first thing in the morning to cleanse your system and get you going for the day.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 stalk romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 cucumber chopped
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 1 pear, cored and chopped
- 1 banana
- Juice of a lemon
- Handful fresh cilantro, optional
- Handful fresh parsley, optional

Step 1
Add water and chopped lettuce and spinach to blender. Starting blender on low speed, mix until smooth. Gradually moving to higher speeds, add cucumber, apple, and pear. Add cilantro and parsley if you choose. Add banana and lemon juice last.
