Chocolate Brownie Cake

CAKE Heat oven to 350°F
- CAKE
- 1 box chocolate cake mix, both 15 ounce and 18.5 ounce work
- 1 box fudge brownie mix
- 4 eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- GANACHE
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 bag (12 ounces) semi sweet chocolate morsels
Strawberry-Mint Sparkling Limeade

1. Place first 5 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth (about 1 minute)
- 3 cups sliced strawberries $
- 1/2 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice $
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1 (750-milliliter) bottle sparkling wine, chilled

SLOW-COOKED STROGANOFF

Cut beef into thin strips
- 3 pounds beef top round steaks
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 1 can (8 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 can (10-1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth, undiluted
- 1-1/2 cups (12 ounces) sour cream
- Hot cooked noodles
Beef barley soup

Set the pressure cooker to Browning
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 3/4 lb stew beef (chuck roast is great), cut into 1/2-inch dice
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 2 carrots, trimmed and diced
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms (I like cremini)
- 1 Tbsp dried thyme leaf
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp fresh black pepper
- 1 cup pearl barley, rinsed and drained
- 4 cups chicken broth (low-sodium store bought, or homemade) + 2 cups water

Beat butter in bowl of stand mixer with whisk attachment on medium-high speed until light and fluffy
- 1c1 c (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2tsp.2 tsp. McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1tsp.1 tsp. McCormick® Pure Almond Extract
- 32oz32 oz (8 cups) confectioners sugar, sifted*
- 2tbsp.2 tbsp. whole milk (you can use up to 1/2 cup if you need a loose, creamy consistency)
- pinchpinch salt
- You can use as little as 4 cups if you want to decrease sugar
Nordstrom Tomato Basil Soup {Tomato Bisque}

Chop up the carrots and onions
- 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 8 oz Carrots peeled and chopped
- 8 oz Yellow Onion chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil
- 3 28 oz cans San Marzano Tomatoes in Purée Italian style
- 1 cup Chicken Stock/Broth
- 1-1.5 cup(s) Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt or 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil leaves cut into fine ribbons
- Optional Ingredients (No Longer Nordstrom)
- 2 oz Parmesan Cheese
- 1 TBL Premium Fish Sauce (or Worcestershire Sauce)
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
Quick Italian Cream Cake

Beat first 4 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer 2 minutes
- 1 (16.25-ounce) package white cake mix (I used Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (3 1/2-ounce) can flaked coconut
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 3 T Rum (optional)

- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

S’mores Cookies

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, sea salt and cinnamon to combine
- 11 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 3 regular sized Hershey’s bars, broken into pieces
- 1-2 packages graham crackers, broken into squares

Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Macaroni Salad

- 3 tablespoons chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 cups cooked elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup chopped seeded tomato
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 3 cups shredded lettuce
- 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
