1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 inch square baking pan
- 1/4 pound (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 extra large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 cup sour cream , at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teas baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 large ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans

1. Preheat the oven to 350
- FOR SYRUP:
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Strip of lemon peel
- 2 or 3 small Cinnamon sticks
- FOR DESSERT:
- 1 cup almonds, crushed but with some texture
- 1 cup walnuts, crushed but with some texture
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 22 sheets phyllo pastry, cut to the dimensions of your dish
- 2/3 About 2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted to golden brown
- 30 or so whole cloves, for decorating

- 1 recipe pie crust of your choice
- 1/2 cups pure maple syrup
- 3 eggs
- 6 tblsp butter, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups coarsely chopped wlnuts, toasted
- 1 tblsp vanilla
- 2 tblsp light rum (optional) 1/4 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg
- (Garnish with rum raisin or vanilla ice cream)
Banana Chocolate Chunk Muffins

- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teas vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teas baking powder
- 1/4 teas baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chunks (52-62% cocoa; chips can be substituted, or you can make your own chunks from a bar of baking chocoalte)
- 2 perfectly ripe to overripe medium sized bananas, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 10 tblsp crumb mix
