slow cooker marinara

STEP 1: Cut the onion into a small dice and mince the garlic (or use pre-minced garlic from a jar)
- 2 (28 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 whole bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp dried basil
- 1/2 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- to taste salt & pepper
Smothered Chicken

Melt 1 TBSP butter in saucepan
- 1 lb chicken
- 1 lb. of pasta, your choice
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large whole mushrooms (or a few more)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp. butter divided
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/4 cups of milk
- salt and pepper
- Parmesan cheese
CHEESY QUINOA CAKES

Place all ingredients, except for the oil, into a mixing bowl and stir together until well combined
- 2 cups cooked, cooled quinoa (about 1 cup uncooked will yield 2 cups cooked)
