Summertime Iced Tea

Pour boiling water into a large heatproof pitcher
- 4 c. boiling water
- 2 family-sized tea bags
- 6 leaves fresh mint
- 1 (6-oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 c. cold water
- Garnish: ice cubes, fresh mint sprigs
Kettle Corn

Place the popcorn, sugar and salt in a large pot with vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup un-popped popcorn kernels
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Bacon-Cheeseburger Calzones

1 Heat oven to 375°F. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook bacon over medium heat 2 minutes
- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces

- 1/4 cup dried instant minced onion
- 1/4 cup chopped hamburger pickle slices
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing

- 1 shallot, roughly chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 c olive oil, plus more as needed
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 lemon, zested
- 1 lb shrimp (26 – 30 count, peeled and de-veined)
- 5 medium-sized zucchinis
- Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 c halved cherry tomatoes
Taco Chicken Strips

Preheat oven to 425 F. To crush the tortilla chips, place them in a resealable plastic bag
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/4 cup crushed tortilla chips
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning*
Pork Adobo

Marinade the following ingredients for about 1 hour: pork, soy sauce and minced or crushed garlic
- 2 pounds pork butt, cut in chunks
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon peppercorns
- 5 bay leaves
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- Salt to taste
A "Special" Hamburger Dish *(GOOD)*

Cook ground beef until done
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (15 ounce) cans dark red kidney beans, undrained
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 (12 ounce) package Portuguese sausage (Linguica), sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) box elbow macaroni, cooked
Hamburger Steak

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dash of black pepper
Kid-Friendly Spaghetti

Brown hamburger in a large pan
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 Beef Bouillon cubes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- pepper to taste
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- dash of garlic
- Spaghetti
- Brown hamburger in a large pan.
- Once cooked throw add salt, pepper, tomato sauce and paste, water (with the bouillon cubes in it), sugar, basil, oregano and garlic. Simmer on low for an hour.
- Minutes before the hour is done, cook box of spaghetti noodles as directed on package.
- Add noodles to our spaghetti at the end.

- 1/2 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
