Follow-the-Footprints Malted Sheet Cake

Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray a 9- by-13-inch baking pan
- Baking spray
- 4 1/2 c. cake flour, spooned and leveled
- 2/3 c. malted milk powder
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. (3 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 5 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. Buttermilk
- Cream Cheese Buttercream
- Footprint template, cocoa powder, and Candy Pearls, for decoration
Spinach Squares

Cook + drain spinach. Chop onion finely
- 2 10oz boxes frozen, chopped spinach
- 1 cup bisquick mix
- 1 med onion
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 lb mozzarella cheese
- salt + pepper
Eggplant Parmigiana

Moisten eggplant (with milk) and coat lightly in flour
- 2 eggplants; peel; slice 1/4" circles

- seasoned salt
- 1 lb. jar meat-flavored Prego
- 1/4 cup grape jelly
- 14 oz. can sliced-style stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 lb. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Winter Seafood Chowder

Tilapia and shrimp combine forces in a creamy chowder; finish it with a hint of lemon
- 2 large all-purpose potatoes
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 medium size onion; chopped
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 bottle (8 oz.) clam juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
- 1 jar (2 oz.) chopped pimiento
- 1 cup half-n-half
- 1/2 lb. tilapia fillets
- 1/2 lb. medium sized shrimp; peeled and cleaned
- Fresh lemon juice, to taste
Lemon-Basil Marinade

In small bowl, whisk together vinegar, mustard, oil, basil, lemon peel and garlic
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup GREY POUPON DIJON or Country Dijon Mustard
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 to 3 teaspoons dried basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
Heart Healthy Chicken and Pasta

Cook the spinach in the broth until tender
- 8 oz. fresh pasta shells (or 6 oz. dry pasta shells)
- 1 1/4 pounds fresh spinach
- 1 pound chicken breast; grilled and cut 1” strips
- 4 medium cloves garlic; chopped fine
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Quick Bread Bowls Recipe

In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer
- 1 1 3 to 80°) 3 tablespoons water (70° to 80°)
- 2 2 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 3 3 cups bread flour
- 2-1/2 2-1/2 2-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Frosting for Sugar Cookie

Melt butter, mix all ingredients
- 3/4 cup sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
Herb Blend

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl
- 4 tsp. sesame seeds
- 2 tsp. dried marjoram
- 2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. poppy seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
Whiskey Chai

In spice grinder, pulse all of the spices to a powder
- 2 stick cinnamon
- 20 black peppercorns
- 16 whole cloves
- 8 cardamom pods
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 qt. whole milk
- 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. loose black tea
- 3 oz. bourbon or rye whiskey
