  • 3 oz. sherry cooking wine

This is an easier take on the classic "pigs in a blanket"

  • Brown 1 lb. ground beef; then add:
  • 1 small finely chopped cabbage in bottom of 9 x 13 deep dish pan.
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper to taste
  • Then pour over cabbage.
  • Combine 1 can of condensed tomato soup and a can of tomatoes (about 1 1/2 cups).
  • Pour over the ground beef mixture.
  • Layer 1/2 cup cheese on top.
