  • 2 pkg. dry yeast - sprinkle on top of 1 cup warm water (not hot!)
  • 2 tbsp. sugar (sprinkle this on top of the water with yeast and watch it bubble!)
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. bag of grated coconut
  • 1 jar of cherries; chopped to your liking (I splash a bit of cherry juice to make it a pretty color - but be careful you don't want it wet.)
