German Cheddar And Beer Fondue

Combine cheeses in a bowl with flour
- FOR SERVING:
- 2 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
- 4 oz shredded Gruyere
- 1 tbs flour
- 1 cup German lager beer
- 2 tbs spicy brown mustard
- hot sauce
- Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 lb cubed and browned sausages
- 1 package mini party franks
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 jar mini Gherkin pickles
- 1 small jar pickled onions
- 1 small loaf rye or sour dough bread, cubed
Mushroom Bacon Pizza

In a large skillet over medium heat cook bacon until crisp, about 5 minutes
- 12 ounces bacon
- 1 1/2 pounds fresh white mushrooms sliced
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons oregano leaves crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
- 1 large Italian bread shell - (16 oz)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced plum tomatoes
Rum-Caramel Sauce

Combine first 4 ingredients in heavy medium saucepan
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tbs light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/4 cups whipping cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 tbs dark rum
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 vanilla extract
BLT Pasta

In a small saucepan, bring the half-and-half to a gentle simmer (do not boil)
- 1 pint half-and-half
- 4 ounces blue cheese
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
- 16 ounces hickory-smoked bacon cut into 1/2" pieces
- 1 large yellow onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 can peeled tomatoes - (28 oz) drained and diced
- 1 pound linguine cooked al dente
- 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley for garnish
Chinese Chicken Noodle Soup

Marinate chicken in soy sauce, sherry and 1 tbs sesame oil for 20 minutes
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 3 tbs soy sauce
- 3 tbs dry sherry
- 2 tbs oriental sesame oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 3 tbs tahini
- 2 tbs minced fresh ginger
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tbs seasoned rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp chili-garlic sauce
- 4 cups chopped Napa cabbage
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 14 oz whole wheat spaghetti noodles
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Bacon And Blue Cheese Salad With Caesar Dressing

To make the Salad: Place first 3 ingredients in large bowl
- EASY CAESAR DRESSING:
- 1 head romaine lettuce torn bite size
- 6 bacon slices cooked, crumbled
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

- 1/2 cup freshly-grated Parmesan
- 1/2 cup olive oil plus
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp spicy mustard
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- GARLIC CROUTONS:
- 2 tbs butter(1/4 stick)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves pressed
- 4 French bread slices, cubed
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Butternut Squash Penne with Gorgonzola

Toss squash and olive oil together on a large jelly roll pan
- 3 cups butternut squash, peeled, cored and cubed
- Olive oil
- 1 cup chopped leeks
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 16 oz penne pasta
- 3 cups spinach
- 1 tbs fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbs fresh sage, chopped
- 1/4 tsp dried crushed red pepper
- 1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

- 6 tablespoons sugar
