No-Chill Cutout Sugar Cookies

This is a nice sugar cookie which doesn't require that you chill the dough before you roll it out
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

Vanilla Butterscotch Sauce (or Boozerscotch)

Variation: Add a couple of tablespoons of scotch or bourbon along with the butter to make Boozerscotch

- 1/2 vanilla bean

- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
