- 6 eggs
- 3/4 cups sugar

- 5 pounds McIntosh or Macoun apples

16 Bean Soup

Rinse beans and sort for foreign objects
- 20 oz. bag of 16 Bean Soup Mix (Any bean mix will do, really.)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 6 small carrots, peeled and diced
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 whole bay leaf
- 1 ham bone
- water
- 8 oz. diced fully cooked ham (you can use leftover ham if you have it, but our ham bone was pretty well picked dry)
