Whisk the vinegar, mustard, oregano, salt and pepper in a large bowl to blend
- 4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 24 ounces crabmeat, drained, picked over
- 6 heads Belgian endive, trimmed, separated into spears
- Chopped fresh chives, for garnish
Guinness Beef Stew in a Crock Pot

1 Put potato, carrot, and celery chunks in the bottom of crock pot
- 8 -10 red potatoes , skin on, quartered
- 6 carrots , peeled, sliced into thick chunks
- 2 stalks celery , cut in chunks
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 lbs stew meat , cubed (I used chuck)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 2 -3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion , diced
- 4 large garlic cloves , minced
- 8 ounces baby portabella mushrooms , halved
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 10 3/4 ounces beef broth (I used consomme)
- 1 (13 g) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning (Tony Chachere's)
- 1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning (Mrs. Dash)
- 12 ounces beer (Guinness, draught or stout)
- 1 cup frozen peas , if desired
Arizona Tortilla Soup

1. Stack tortillas and cut into 1-inch-wide strips
- 4 corn tortillas (6 to 7 in.)
- 3 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 onion (4 to 5 oz.), peeled and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon minced or pressed garlic
- 1 dried bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon hot chili flakes
- 8 cups fat-skimmed chicken broth
- Salsa fresca
- 1 ripe or firm-ripe avocado (about 8 oz.)
- 1 lime (about 3 oz.)
- 3/4 cup shredded jack cheese
- Salt and pepper

- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated fresh lemon zest
- 1 1/3 cups blueberries (6 ounces)
- Confectioners sugar for dusting
- Special equipment: 4 (3 3/4-inch) nonstick fluted tart pans or 4 (8-ounces) ramekins

- 1 cup store-bought Mojo sauce
- 2 cups orange juice
- 4 limes, juiced
- 1 (14 to 16-pound) bone-in whole fresh pork leg
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder or flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
