  • 6 oz. Heath bar, chopped
  • FOR TOASTED PECAN ICE CREAM:
  • 1 1/2 C. pecan pieces
  • 3 C. whole milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, split and scraped
  • 1 C. granulated sugar, divided
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 C. sour cream
  • 1/2 T. whiskey
  • FOR GARNISH:
  • Mint leaves
  • Optional garnish: toasted walnut halves
