Scampi Portofino

Arrange 1 1/2-2 lbs of butterflied shrimp in a large baking dish
- 1 1/2-2 lbs of butterflied shrimp
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 4-5 parsley sprigs
- Salt, pepper
- 3-4 tbs. olive oil
WAFFLES - JANAKI'S BELGIAN

1. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar
- 2 C. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 2 T. fine cane sugar
- 4 large eggs, separated
- 2 C. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 T. unsalted butter, melted
Parmesan Black Pepper Arborio Rice Pilaf

Heat butter and oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat
- 1 tb. butter
- 1 Tb. olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups arborio rice, rinsed in a colander until water runs clear
- 1 quart (32 ounces) low-sodium chicken broth
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
- Salt to taste
THE DOVE

Combine all ingredients, except Champagne in a cocktail shaker and shake well
- 3/4 ounce Don Julio Blanco tequila,
- 3/4 ouniie Grand Marnier
- 1/2 ouhcb fresh lemon juice
- 1 ounce grape fruit juice
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Champagne
- Ice Cubes
Penne with Shrimp

1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil
- 1 * 1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta
- 2 * 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 * 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 * 2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 * 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 * 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fish Tacos

Heat tortillas, one at a time, in a large skillet, over medium high heat until softened (about 30 seconds per side)...
- 8 (6") four tortillas
- 8 tilapia fillets, rinsed in cold water, patted dry , cut in half lengthwise
- 3 tbsp. Kowalski Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- shredded red cabbage
- shredded green cabbage
- Pepper Avocado Salsa
Spicy Baguette Toasts

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
- 1 baguette
- 1/2 cup (125 ml.) olive oil
- 2 tsp (1 0 ml.) Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp (10 ml.) garlic salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml.) Asian chili oil
- Several grindings black pepper

1. In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, petals and herbs, baking powder, and salt
- 3 C. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 C. chopped edible flower petals (such as calendulas, violets, pansies, and/or tulips) and snipped fresh herbs (such as thyme, tarragon, and/or sage)
- 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 C. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 C. buttermilk
Cra Cakes with Riesling

Saute the onion and pepper in the 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 smaIl yellow or white onion,finely chopped
- 1 medium sweet-pepper
- (red preferred), finely chopped
- 8 ounces crabmeat
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon hot Dijon mustard or
- California-style sweet-hot musterd
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon butter mixed with
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Beurre blanc (recipe follows)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
