Rice Krispies Treats

Melt butter in large pan, add marshmellows and stir continuously until completely melted
- 4 TBLS butter
- 1 Pkg - 16 oz regular marshmellows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Zippy Shrimp

In a large nonstick skillet, combine the first 10 ingredients
- 1 1/4 C chicken or vegetable broth
- 15 medium pitted ripe olives, finely chopped
- 1 red chili pepper, finely chopped
- 2 TBLS lemon juice
- 1 TBL minced fresh rosemary (cut up) or 1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 LB fresh or frozen uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
Spaghetti Skillet

In a skiller over medium heat, cook beef and sausage until no longer pink; drain
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 lb bulk mild Italian sausage
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) stewed tomatoes
- 1 c water
- 1 can (4oz) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 2 celery ribs, sliced
- 4 oz uncooked spaghetti, broken in half
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
Hong Kong Pork Chops

Season chops well with salt; brown in hot oil on both sides
- 4 pork chops
- hot oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- salt
- 1 sliced onion
- 1/2 green pepper
- 2 TBLS lemon juice
- 1 4oz jar mushrooms
- 1 lemon sliced
Chicken Noodle Soup - Zanna's

Melt butter in Dutch oven
- 2 tsp Butter
- 1 C Chopped carrots
- 1 Small potato, diced
- 1 tsp Poultry Seasonings
- 2 tsp Chicken bouillon
- 2 C cooked Chicken
- 1 C diced celer
- 1/2 C diced onion
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 5 10oz cans chicken broth
- 4 oz egg noodles
Chicken - boil directions

place in pot, cover with water and lid, boil for 1 hour
- Chicken breasts
- 2-3 tsps chicken granules

Pound Cake

Cream together 3 sticks of butter - room temperature with 2 1/2 C sugar
- 3 sticks of butter - salted
- 2 1/2 C sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 C buttermilk
- 1 1/2 tbls vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbls warm water
Peach Cobbler - Wash Day Peach Cobbler

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 16oz can fruit with its juice - your choice (peaches)
- 1 C Flour
- 1 C Sugar
- 1 C Milk
- 2 tsps baking powder
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 C (1 stick) margarine
- 1/4 C cinnamon sugar for topping
Broccoli Noodle Side Dish

Cook noodles according to package directions
- 3 cups uncooked wide egg noodles
- 1/8 cup oil
- 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp salt
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Crispy Potato-Crusted Snapper

1. In shallow bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic, pepper and salt
- 1/2 C buttermilk
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 C instant potato flakes (not granules)
- 4 red snapper or firm white fish fillets (about 6 oz. each)
- 1 TBLS butter
- 4 lemon wedges
