Margarita on the Rocks

Mix all ingredients in shaker, shake and pour over ice in salt-rimmed glass
- 1.5 oz Tequila
- 1 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 1.5 oz organic lime juice
- 1 tsp organic agave syrup
Spinach Salad w/ Dressing

- Dressing:
- 1/3 C ketchup
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/4 C red wine vinegar
- 1/3 C Vegetable oil
- 4 green onions, chopped (including tops)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salad:
- 1 10 oz bag baby fresh spinach
- 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms
- 8 slices of bacon, fried and crumbled
- 4 hard boiled eggs
Roasted Grape Tomatoes

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1-2 small cartons of grape tomatoes
- a drizzle of EVOO
- sprinkle of kosher salt
- sprinkle of freshly ground pepper
Thanksgiving - Making Gravy

Using pan drippings from turkey, skim off fat
- Kitchen bouquet
- Flour
- Lemon juice
- Make chicken broth with turkey neck, gizzards - use everything in sack (except liver), put in sauce pan, fill with water, add celery with leaves, onion and lemon slice with bouillon cube - simmer on low for 1 hour
Sweet & Sour Ribs - Slow Cooker

Place ribs in an ungreased slow cooker
- 3-4 LBS boneless country style ribs
- 1 C (20 oz) pineapple tidbits - undrained
- 2 C (8 oz each) tomato sauce
- 1/2 C thinly sliced onion
- 1/2 C thinly sliced green pepper
- 1/2 C packed brown sugar
- 1/4 C cider vinager
- 1/4 C tomato paste
- 2 TBLS Worchestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt & pepper to taste

- 1 LB (16 oz) Velveeta cheese, cut up
- 1 C Taco Bell home originals thick n chunky salsa

- 1 1/2 lbs. Cheddar Cheese – grated
- 1/4 cup Onion, finely minced ( an additional 1/8 cup adds flavor)
- 3/4 cup Pecans, finely chopped or sprinkles
- 1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic Salt
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. Hot Pepper Sauce (Frank’s brand is preferred)
- 1 cup Raspberry Preserves (Must be a very good quality preserve)
Okra & Tomatos - saute

Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 4 cups okra pods, trimmed (about 1 pound)
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (28-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, undrained
