Instructions Beat the cream cheese until smooth, about 1 minute
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 3 Tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- dash nutmeg
- 4 oz Cool Whip (or 1 1/2 cups freshly whipped cream)
- Graham crackers for serving

- For the Bars:
- 3 C Flour
- 1/3 C Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 C Butter, softened
- 1 1/2 C Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 oz Bottle Red Food Coloring
- For the Frosting:

- 1/2 C Butter, softened

Crock Pot French Dip Sandwich - Spicy Southern Kitchen

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3-pound) boneless chuck roast, trimmed of excess fat
- 1 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth (1 can is fine)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

- 2 cups buttermilk
- 5 garlic cloves, peeled & smashed
- 1 T. salt
- 1 T. sugar
- 1 1/2 t. paprika (plus some for sprinkling)

- 2 1/2 - 3 lbs chicken parts
- Olive oil for drizzling

Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter & sugar
- 1 C. PLUS 1 T. flour
- 1/4 t. baking soda
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 cup m&m's
Stuffed French Bread

Preheat oven to 350° F. Slice the french bread in half, lengthwise, so you have two equal pieces
- 1 loaf french bread
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
