Filet with Mushroom Sauce - Recipe.com

1. Heat broiler. Coat a broiler pan with nonstick spray
- 4 filet mignon steaks, 5 to 6 ounces each
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 ounces presliced mixed mushrooms
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup steak sauce, such as A-1
- 1 tablespoon onion flakes
- Green salad and asparagus (optional)
Real Whipped Cream

Whip together until thickened then add the gelatin mixture (while still whipping); Whip until stiff
- 1 tsp gelatin
- 4 tsp water
- Combine the above until thick; Microwave 25 to 30 seconds until clear; Cool slightly
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla

- 1/4 teaspoon Colette’s Baking Spice Blend, or
- ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
