Glazed Cinnamon Apple Fritters

Pour frying oil into a large dutch oven so that it fills about 1/3 of the way
- Apple Fritters:
- frying oil
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (divided)
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (divided)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 Granny Smith apples, cored, peeled and diced small
- Glaze:
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 3 tablespoons whole milk (more as needed)
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Slow Cooker Sunday Gravy

Spread the onion in the bottom of a 5 to 6-quart slow cooker
- 1 small onion, diced (about 1 cup)
- 1 carrot, grated on the large holes of a box grater
- 1 1/4 pounds cubed chuck steak

Slow Cooker Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

- 2 lbs ground chicken (not ground chicken breast)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, cored and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup finely chopped yellow onion

- 2 Tbsp soy sauce

- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated three cheese tortellini
