- 2 cups + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups semisweet (or bittersweet) chocolate chips
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Outback Dipping Sauce

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons creamed horseradish
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 dash black pepper
- 1 dash cayenne
Chicken and Rice Casserole

Instructions Make the condensed soup: combine the chicken broth and ½ cup of the milk in a large saucepan
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth (I used 2 cans)
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon seasoning mix for the condensed soup (or 1/2 tsp. onion powder, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1/2 tsp. parsley)
- Optional: sub 2 cans cream of chicken soup for the ingredients above
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked brown rice, rinsed
- 2 tablespoons seasoning mix of your choice for the flavor of the casserole – my favorite was a smoked hickory southwestern seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts
