Tired of buying cranberry sauce from the store? It couldn't be easier to make at home
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice, no sugar added or freshly squeezed
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 (12 ounce) bag cranberries

Directions Melt the butter in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat
- 8 ounces unsalted butter
- 12 ounces bread flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 ounces granulated sugar
- 8 ounces light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 ounce whole milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Shrimp Scampi with Linguini

Directions For the pasta, put a large pot of water on the stove to boil
- 1 pound linguini
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
- 2 shallots, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Pinch red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley leaves
Coney Island Chili Dog Sauce

Brown ground beef in a skillet, adding onions halfway through
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin (heaping)
- 1 ⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper

- 1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding

- 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream
Banana Split Brownie Pizza

- 1 (20-ounce) box fudge brownie mix (recommended: Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix)
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained, juice reserved
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 bananas, sliced and tossed in lemon juice to prevent browning
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- Chocolate ice cream topping or chocolate syrup, for drizzling
