Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottoms of two loaf pans
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. shredded zucchini
- 2/3 c. water
- 3 1/3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. each walnuts and raisins
Frosty Strawberry Dessert

If desired, freeze this dessert in a large angel food cake pan
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar (2/3 c. if using frozen berries)
- 2 c. sliced fresh strawberries or 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, sweetened
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. whipping cream, whipped
- sliced fresh strawberries for garnish, optional
