Pumpkin Pie Bars

Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Crust Ingredients:
- 1 1/3 cup unbleached white flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 8 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Filling Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Apple Crisp Pizza

Instructions: Note: I like to use salted butter because it cuts the sweetness of the pizza
- Ingredients:
- Pastry for single-crust pie (9 inches)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- 4 medium apples (like Gala, Fiji, Braeburn, Empire) peeled and diced into 1/4 inch pieces
- TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup salted butter, softened (see Note)
- 1/2 cup caramel topping

- CARAMEL
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, kosher or sea
- FROSTING
- 2 sticks butter at room temperature
- 8 ounces of cream cheese
- 3-4 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 cup salted caramel

Holiday Cherry Cheesecake

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sweetened coconut
- Filling:
- 2 (8 oz.) packages of cream cheese, softened
- 2/3 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
Herb Butter

- 8 TBS butter+
- 1-2 cloves of garlic (finely minced)
- 1 Tbs fresh basil (finely minced)
- 1 tsp finely minced dill
- 1 tsp finely minced thyme
- 1/2 to 3/4 tsp kosher salt

Using sweet onions for this recipe gives an almost sweet and salty caramelized taste at the end
- 2 to 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3 large sweet onions or 4 medium white or yellow onions
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 8 or so slices of French bread
- You can substitute cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken to make vegetarian.
