Buttermilk Parmesan Biscuits

Preheat the oven to 425°
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped thyme
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 tablespoons vegetable shortening, chilled
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces and chilled
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, chilled
Grilled Pork Roast

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first nine ingredients; add pork
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 to 2 tbsp. ground mustard
- 1 to 2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 boneless pork loin roast (2 1/2 to 3 lb.)
Pulled Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Coat slow cooker bowl with nonstick cooking spray
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, about 1 1/2 pounds
- 1/4 cup hot wing sauce (such as Franks), plus more for serving(optional)
- 16 dinner-size potato rolls, 1 1/4 ounces each
- 1 cup reduced-fat blue cheese dressing
- Celery and carrot sticks (optional)
Crock Pot Tater Tot Casserole

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Beef Nacho Casserole

Preheat oven to 350. In a skillet, brown meat with onion and drain well
- 1 lb ground round beef
- 1 jar (12 ounces) chunky salsa
- 1 cup frozen sweet niblet corn, thawed and drained in colander
- 3/4 cup Hellman's mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups low fat tortilla chips, divided
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Kraft Natural Colby/Monterey Jack cheese, divided
- Lettuce, shredded (optional)
- Tomatoes, chopped (optional)
- Green onion, chopped (optional)
Fresh Apple Cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- For the Cake:
- 1-1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 1-3/4 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 1 tablespoon ground apple pie spice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups peeled and diced apples
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- For the Glaze:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons apple cider or orange juice
- 2 tablespoons dark rum, optional
Speedy Taco Bake

Heat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1-lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 envelope (1 1/4 oz.) taco seasoning mix
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 1/4 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 c. Bisquick original or reduced fat baking mix
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
Caramel Apple Bars

1. Line an 8x8x2-inch baking pan with foil, extending foil up over edges of pan
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 3/4 cup caramel-flavored ice cream topping
- 3 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 3 cups apple-cinnamon-flavored round toasted oat cereal (Cheerios)
- 1 cup coarsely chopped dried apples
- 1/2 cup salted peanuts, coarsely chopped

In a mixing bowl beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. semisweet chocolate pieces, melted and cooled
- 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. miniature semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1/4 tsp. rum flavoring
