Sexy Shrimp Scampi

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 30 medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli for 2

- 1 lb boneless beef chuck roast, sliced into thin strips
- 1 cup beef consumme or beef broth
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Frozen broccoli florets (as many as desired I believe I used almost 3 cups)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder
- 4 tbsp of liquid from slow cooker
- Cooked white rice
Skillet Lemon Chicken With Mushrooms

Place chicken breast halves between sheets of plastic wrap; gently pound to thin to an even thickness
- ; 4 boneless chicken breast halves
- ; 1/3 cup flour
- ; 1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- ; 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- ; 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- ; 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ; 1 tablespoon butter

- ; 4 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
- ; 4 green onions sliced
- ; 2 tablespoons dry Marsala wine or a dry Chardonna

- 4 teaspoons corn starch
- 4 teaspoons water
- 4 tablespoons Canola oil
- 4 cups snow peas ; trimmed
- 1 cup sliced water chestnuts
- 6 cloves garlic ; chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons orange juice
- salt ; and pepper
Braised Brisket with Mushrooms

1. Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 300 degrees
- 1 (4- to 5-pound) brisket roast, fat trimmed to 1/4 inch
- Salt and pepper
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 ounce dried porcini mushrooms, rinsed
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound white mushrooms, trimmed and quartered
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
