Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Cream butter and 2 cups of sugar until fluffy
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 3/4 cups sugar, divided
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (16 ounces) sour cream
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Oatmeal Cookies

Combine brown sugar, eggs, milk, oil and vanilla
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup raisins
Lemon Cake

Cream butter, gradually add sugar beating well
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs, seperated
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded lemon peel
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup milk
- Powdered sugar
Cheese Biscuits

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
Dinner Rolls

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 packages (1/4 ounce each) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water (110 - 115 degrees)
- 1/3 cup plus 1 teaspoon sugar, divided
- 1 1/4 cup warm milk (110 - 115 degrees)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 6 - 6 1/2 cups flour
Gingerbread

Combine egg, sugar, molasses, butter and water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light molasses
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2/3 cup cold water
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream
Aunt Evelyn's Sour Cream Apple Bread

Combine all ingredients. Pour into 2 bread pans
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
Leah's Cranberry Bread
