Panera Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Steam broccoli in steamer basket in covered saucepan over boiling water for 6 minutes
- 3 c broccoli florets
- 4 c chicken broth
- 1 c half and half
- 1/2 c flour
- 8 slices Kraft sharp cheddar singles
- 1/2 c shredded carrot
- 1/3 c diced white onion
- pinch pepper
Chicken Fried Steak

For the assembly, dip the meat, one piece at a time, into the egg/milk mixture
- 3 pounds Cube Steak (tenderized Round Steak That's Been Extra Tenderized)
- 1-1/2 cup Whole Milk, Plus Up To 2 Cups For Gravy
- 2 whole Large Eggs
- 3 cups All-purpose Flour
- Seasoned Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne
- LOTS Of Black Pepper. Lots.
- Canola Oil, For Frying
- Salt And Pepper, For Both Meat And Gravy
- 5 pounds Russet Or Yukon Gold Potatoes
- 3/4 cups Butter
- 1 package (8 Oz.) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 cup (to 3/4 Cups) Half-and-Half
- 1/2 teaspoon (to 1 Teaspoon) Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (to 1 Teaspoon) Black Pepper
Barbeque Sauce

1. Mix Mustard with water and allow to stand 10 minutes
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp water
- 1/4 c olive oil, light or cooking oil of your choice
- 1 Tbsp minced onions
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp wortershire sauce
- 1/4 - 1/2 c vinegar
- 1 sm can tomato paste
- 1 sm can tomato sauce (optional)
- 1/2 c tomato ketchup
- 1/8-1/4 c liquid smoke (optional)
- 1/4 c molasses
Diane's Zuppa Toscana

- 1 pkg. Johnsonville hot italian sausage, de-skin and cut into pieces (Or, can use the sweet/mild ground italian sausage)
- 5 oz sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 1 small white onion, diced
- 1 bunch fresh kale
- Garlic
- 1-2 lbs red new potatoes, sliced
- 16 About 16 oz. water or chicken broth

Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup

- 1 stewing hen, about 5 pounds
- 2 pounds chicken bones or chicken necks
- 4 quarts cold water
- 1 ounce fresh ginger, crushed
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 pound rice vermicelli (bun)
- 1 whole cooked chicken breast (2 halves), thinly sliced
- 8 to 12 fresh cilantro sprigs, for garnishing soup
- 4 to 8 fresh basil sprigs, for garnishing soup
- 4 fresh mint sprigs, for garnishing soup
- 2 cups fresh bean sprouts, for garnishing soup
- 2 limes, cut into wedges, for garnishing soup
- 2 to 3 sliced fresh jalapeno, Serrano, or Thai chile peppers, for garnishing soup

- 1/2 c water, warm (not hot)
- 2 pkg active dry yeast
- 3/4 c milk, lukewarm
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 c all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/3 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- GLAZE
- 1 Tbsp water, warm (may need more to thin, but thicker is better)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 c confectioners' sugar, sifted

- 1 tsp. French's Classic Worcestershire Sauce
