Chocolate Mousse

1. Simply pour water into a saucepan

- Serves 4
- 8 ounces chocolate (we used 70% bittersweet - choose a high quality chocolate you love)
- 3/4 cup (6 ounces) water
- ice cubes
- freshly whipped cream for topping (optional)
Gloria's Shrimp Cocktail

Makes 1 gallon
- 2 small cans shrimp (drained)
- 1 bottle Shrimp Cocktail sauce
- 2 quarts tomato or V-8 juice
- 4 C diced celery
- 2 green onions diced fine
- 1 green pepper
- 3/4 tsp garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp Horseradish
- 1/2 C sugar (ok without)
- 1/4 C lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp vinegar
Pumpkin Roll

Sift the first 6 ingredients
- 3/4 C. flour
- 1 tsp. B. powder
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- sprinkle of salt
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 C. sugar
- 2/3 C. pumpkin
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 C. nuts
- Frosting
- 1 C. powdered sugar
- 6 oz. cream cheese
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Tutti Fruitti Lemon Dessert

- 1-8 3/4 oz. can pineapple tidbits
- 1-11 oz. can mandarin oranges
- 1-17 oz. can fruit cocktail
- 1/2 C. flake coconut (opt)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1-3 3/4 oz. pkg. instant lemon pudding
- 2 bananas
- Cool Whip
Chocolate Dessert

Mix first 4 ingredients together and press into cake pan
- 1 C. flour
- 1/2 C. butter
- 1/2 C. nuts (opt)
- 2 Tsp. sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 C. powdered sugar
- 1 C. cool whip
- 1 pkg. 3 oz chocolate instant pudding
- 1 pkg. 3 oz. vanilla instant pudding
- 3 C. milk
- Cool whip
Applesauce Cake

- 1 cube butter - softened
- 2 C. sugar
- 1 1/2 C, applesauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Spices to tase, such as grated nutmeg, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp, cloves
- 1 C. dried apricots
- 1 C. dried cranraisins
- 2 1/2 C. flour
Banana Bread

- Cream:
- Mash 4 bananas - add 1/2 tsp. baking soda - set aside
- 1 1/2 C. sugar
- 3/4 C. shortening (I use butter)
- Add:
- 4 eggs one at a time
- Add:
- 3 1/2 C. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- It will be very thick. Slowly add mashed bananas and mix well.
- Add:
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 C. chopped nuts (opt)

- 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese - softened
- 3 C. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 C. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
