- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 1/2 pounds mussels, scrubbed
- 1 pound cockles or small Manila clams, scrubbed

- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/4 cups fish stock
- 8 extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
