- Dressing:
- 4 cups black barley cooked, chilled
- 2 heads cabbage thinly shredded
- 3 (15-ounce) cans mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup scallion
- 2 cups slivered, or sliced almonds
- 1 (12-ounce) bag chinese crunchy noodles for garnish
- 2 tablespoons fresh grated ginger root, or 2 tsp. ginger powder
- 2 teaspoons Chinese Five Spice Blend
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup Xagave, or honey
- 1 teaspoon sea salt

1. Grill the steaks: Build a charcoal fire and rake the coals into an even layer
- For the steaks:
- 4 T-bone steaks (10 to 12 ounces each), cut about 1 inch thick

- Lime Butter:
- 1/2 pound lightly salted butter, room temperature
- 2 limes, the finely grated zest of 1 lime, and the juice of 2
- Pinch sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Smoked Paprika Butter:
- 1/2 pound lightly salted butter, room temperature
- 2 to 3 teaspoons smoked paprika
- Dash of hot sauce (recommended: Tabasco)
