- 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 8 hot dogs
- 3 quarts peanut or vegetable oil

Farro Potato Bread

Farro adds the most wonderful chewy texture to breads
- 1/2 cup instant potatoes
- 1/2 cube butter (maybe we should put the cup version, since not many people are familiar with this)
- 3 1/2 cups hot water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 T. salt
- 1 1/2 cups soaked and steamed farro (or 8 minutes in pressure cooker)
- 6-8 cups Natural White or other high gluten flour
- 2 T. Saf or other instant yeast

- GLAZE:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Seventh Heaven Chocolate Truffle Cake

To Make the Cake: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Cake:
- 2 1/3 cups cake flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 1/3 cups firmly packed golden brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup boiling water
- Ganache Frosting:
- 24 ounces bittersweet chocolate (70 percent cacao), finely chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- Truffle Filling:
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped into small pieces
- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped into small pieces

- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
